DMCA & Copyright Policy

Information on how to submit a copyright takedown notice or counter-notice for content hosted on Polytrack.

1. Overview

Polytrack respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"), 17 U.S.C. § 512(c), we will respond promptly to notices of alleged copyright infringement that are reported to our designated copyright agent.

2. Filing a DMCA takedown notice

If you believe that content on Polytrack infringes your copyright, you (or your agent) may send us a written notice that includes all of the following:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed. If multiple works are involved, provide a representative list.
  • Identification of the infringing material on Polytrack and the URL or specific location where it appears, so we can locate it.
  • Your contact information, including your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement of good faith that you believe the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

3. Where to send notices

Send DMCA takedown notices to our designated copyright agent:

We will acknowledge receipt of your notice within 2 business days and process it in accordance with applicable law.

4. Counter-notice procedure

If you believe that your content was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notice. Your counter-notice must include:

  • Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location where it previously appeared.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal courts in your district (or, if outside the US, any judicial district in which Polytrack may be found) and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Send counter-notices to the same address above with the subject line "DMCA Counter-Notice".

5. Repeat infringers

In accordance with the DMCA and our Terms of Service, we may terminate the accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers of copyright.
